AGI Chemicals started in 2003 as a sole proprietorship producing cheamicals for leather and textile industries. In March 2006, it increased its business size to become a limited liability company.
Our company is well-known especially for its leather auxiliaries, which helped us to build trusted partnerships across the world. Starting with bactericide and soaking enzyme, we produce all beamhouse chemicals.
With our high-quality formulations, we became a strong alternative for well-known chemicals producers. We only sell our own productions or own imports, hence we can offer competitive prices.
Our founding partner, Görgü AKINCI, is a chemical engineer with 43 years of experience, who has worked as production lead in big multinationals such as BASF, and in various starch and chlor alkaline industries.
We are proud to combine our 43 years of experience in the chemicals industry with our environmentally-cautious practices. One such practice that aims to reduce our carbon-footprint is our “energy recycle”: We utilize the energy that is created during chemical reactions to heat or cool down other processes instead of using common heating/cooling systems. Furthermore, solar energy is one of the main energy sources of our facility.
